About the deal

We were instructed by CJ’s Decorating – Painting Solutions (“CJ’s Decorating”) to recover £10,444 from a main contractor. CJ’s Decorating is a specialist decorating business and were contracted to decorate 14 homes in Braintree. The main contractor failed to serve a payment notice and a payless notice on time. This meant the sums in our client’s application were the notified sums due.
The client spent 3 months trying to obtain payment but without any success. Upon receiving instructions I immediately contacted the main contractor. My client successfully received payment of £9,000 within 2 weeks.
