Work Experience Programme
Our work experience programme runs between June and September each year. In order to be considered for a place on the programme you will need to be at least a 2nd year Law undergraduate.
The programme is very popular but places are strictly limited. Work experience placements are for just one week and unpaid. We offer a broad range of experience opportunities. The areas of possible work experience are listed below:
• Accident Claims
• Agriculture & Estates
• Real estate – Commercial and Residential
• Business (including Employment)
• Divorce and Family
• Dispute Resolution
• Court of Protection and Inheritance Disputes
• Private Client (Wills, Trusts, Tax & Administration of Estates)
Please note that whilst the list above is representative of some areas of work Birkett Long Solicitors deals with, no guarantee of placements in particular areas can be made. Every effort will be made to try to accommodate the wishes of applicants where possible.
Please see the 'our services' menu on our website for a full list of legal services we provide at Birkett Long.
The closing date for work experience applications is 31 March each year. Applications are considered after the closing date.
Please submit your application for work experience - by way of full CV and covering letter - to this email address. Your covering letter should outline your preference for which office/team and any dates during June-September when you are not available.
