I am an Associate Solicitor in the Divorce and Family Team.

In my role, I deal with both highly complex and straightforward cases in Private Law Children Act matters (where a child should live or contact arrangements), Specific Issue Orders, e.g., what school a child should go to, Prohibited Steps Orders, e.g., preventing the removal of a child out of or another part of the jurisdiction of England and Wales, divorce and matrimonial financial matters, Prenuptial Agreements, cohabitation disputes (Separation Agreements and TOLATA), and Family Law Act matters (Non-Molestation Orders and Occupational Orders).

As a Resolution member, I focus on helping my clients resolve their disputes constructively and sensibly, with the goal of avoiding court proceedings whenever possible. This often leads to a far more amicable settlement for the parties concerned.

My membership of Resolution means I avoid adopting a confrontational approach. However, I will not hesitate to stand up for my clients’ interests should the need arise. I aim to provide timely and pragmatic advice throughout to ensure the best possible outcome for my clients. I like to take the stresses that come with family disputes away from my clients, have a hands-on approach, and always be there for them. I consider myself to be very approachable and attentive. I listen to what clients have to say and guide them accordingly.

I knew I would practice Family Law from my university days. My desire to do so was further affirmed when I completed my Legal Practice Course (part of the vocational foundation of becoming a solicitor and developing practical skills). I enjoy helping clients during one of the most stressful and difficult times in their lives, ultimately helping them transition to their next chapter.

In my spare time, I like to play football and tennis, skiing, and travel, whether abroad or in the UK. I love food, especially oriental cuisine, and I also enjoy reading.
