Best practice in conducting disciplinary or grievance meetings for staff

Disciplinary or grievance meetings can be difficult for all in attendance but it is the duty of those conducting the meeting to ensure that the meeting is conducted reasonably and fairly. Appropriate conduct can reduce the number of appeals and avoid, or provide strong defence against, any legal matters that could arise. This training provides guidance on how to reasonably and fairly conduct a disciplinary or grievance meeting, including how to deal with tricky attendees. This training is ideal for those new to conducting such meetings or a refresher for those who have conducted a number.
