WALKING
Birkett Long is just a short walk away from Colchester High Street and local bus stops. Colchester Train station is a 20 minute walk away. .

CYCLING
There is an open bike shed outside Birkett Long which is covered by CCTV. You can download the Colchester Cycle map from the Cycle Colchester website, where you can also find useful information to help and support cyclists. Bikes can also be hired from Colchester station. 

BUS
The nearest bus stops are at nearby Middleborough, a 5 minute walk away.  Bus routes numbered 2, 8, 61, 62, 63, 65, 87 and 754 all offer frequent bus services.  Please click here for live Middleborough bus times and to locate a bus network map here to find your nearest bus service and utilise the Traveline journey planner to plan your journey.
Colchester Park and Ride offers a quick bus ride into the City from the Park and Ride site at junction 28 of the A12, near the Weston Homes Community Stadium. The service stops at Middleborough – a five minute walk from Amphora House.  Please note this offers a day time service only.

TRAIN
The nearest station is Colchester Main Station. There are frequent trains from London, Chelmsford, Ipswich and Norwich and stations in between. You can plan your journey to Colchester main station on the Greater Anglia website. It is an approximate 20 minute walk from Colchester station to Amphora Place.To catch a bus into the City from the station, follow the Fixing the Link route to the bus stop on the opposite side of the road to the station.
You can hire a bike at the station – Bike and Go.

CAR SHARE
If you have to travel by car, could you car share with colleagues, friends or relatives? Normal charges apply but park close to the exit in a wider, more convenient bay and share the parking charge and fuel with your fellow car sharers. DRIVING
The nearest car park is Sheepen Road car park, which is a few minutes’ walk along Sheepen Road to the office.
