I am a newly qualified solicitor in the Commercial Real Estate team. I provide clear and concise advice, treating every transaction as if it were my own. I act on all aspects of commercial property transactions, including acquisition and disposal of commercial property, leases, landlord and tenant matters and secured lending. A large part of my work is the granting and taking of commercial leases for offices and shops, and assisting the residential team with commercial funding for residential properties. I am also the commercial real estate representative for the Health & Social Care team, and I am developing an expertise in this sector, including assisting GPs with leases of NHS premises.
I wanted to be a solicitor from a very young age. During my training contract I undertook a seat in the commercial real estate team and I knew it was right for me. I love the intricacies and detail (especially of leases), and genuinely find commercial property transactions captivating.
In my spare time I enjoy rock climbing, walking, and I was Captain of my University squash team. I also support local charity events including the Mersea walk for Samaritans and the Nuclear Mud Race for St Luke’s Hospice.
