I joined  Birkett Long in March 2023, I am a senior associate solicitor in the BLHR and employment team.

I qualified as a solicitor in 2001. I advise clients on all aspects of employment law and support the BL Human Resources and Employment team in whatever way I can.

I act for employers and employees in all aspects of contentious and non contentious employment law, such as drafting employment contracts, policy documentation and staff handbooks, as well as handling employment tribunal and employment appeal tribunal cases. I am also experienced in settlement negotiations and resolving disputes, and I often provide training to clients on best practice in employment law for their business.

My aim is to ensure clients are kept updated at all times; that their work is turned around quickly but always with attention to detail; and to be approachable and reliable. I enjoy helping clients resolve their concerns and work hard to achieve their objectives, which is a part of my job that I find very rewarding.

When I’m not working I love to play the piano and the violin. I enjoy yoga and long walks as well as spending time with my husband and our two boys.
