Emma Wraight

Partner, Head of Commercial Real Estate and Head of Residential

My specialist area is commercial real estate, where I deal with leasehold acquisitions and dispositions, registered and unregistered titles and acting for major banks in securing charges.

I studied LLB Law (Hons) at the University of Hertfordshire, joining Birkett Long in January 2005.

My legal skills were developed in-house with both British Sugar and One Housing Group (OHG) which is a non-asset holding parent that brings together three housing associations under a group structure: Community Housing Association, Toynbee Housing Association and Island Homes Housing Association.

At OHG I assisted the Group Legal Department in managing over 12,000 homes in 26 local authorities across London and adjacent counties and has over 2,700 homes in the development pipeline. These include affordable rented homes, shared ownership schemes, intermediate rent homes for key workers and homes for private sale.
