Destiny Carter

I am a Legal Support Assistant in the Court of Protection & Inheritance Disputes team. I provide full secretarial support, as well as a role supporting clients and colleagues in the team.

We specialise in contesting wills, disputes between executors and beneficiaries, inheritance (provision for family and dependants) Act 1975, deputyship applications where a loved one had lost capacity and Court of Protection applications. 

I joined Birkett Long's Administration team in Colchester as an apprentice in July 2015. On completion of my apprenticeship in March 2017, I was promoted to Trainee Legal Float Secretary in the Quality & Compliance team.

Prior to joining Birkett Long I studied at Clacton County High Sixth Form College where I studied Psychology, Art, Textiles and Photography as full A-Levels.
