Based in the Colchester office, I have particular expertise in technology and video game law. I have worked with a variety of clients, including software houses, animation studios, and video game developers, helping my clients address challenges that arise in these sectors and navigate legal issues effectively.

My responsibilities as a commercial lawyer include reviewing existing contracts to ensure they meet my client's needs, drafting and negotiating new contracts in a way that strikes the right balance between benefiting my client and also ensuring a good commercial relationship with the other party, and providing advice on consumer rights compliance for B2C clients.

My clients choose me for my friendly and bubbly personality. I keep in touch with my clients regularly, making sure they are up to date with progress on their work and reassured every step of the way. I complete work promptly and actively involve my clients in the process (where appropriate), which ensures that my client's needs are fully met.

I love having the opportunity to work with clients across different sectors and stages of their business. I have always enjoyed the problem-solving and careful planning that come with contracts, and combined with the ability to help clients with their businesses and legal issues, it's very rewarding.

In my personal time, video games have always been a passion hobby for me, and I enjoy delving into new fantasy worlds. I also enjoy being creative and have learned to knit and crochet, making bright-coloured projects that you might see me wearing around the office! When I don't have a controller or knitting needles in hand, I am following F1 or going for walks.
