Solicitor

As a Solicitor in the BLHR and Employment team, I always strive to do the best for my clients and provide them with a level of support and reassurance at what can be a stressful time. I take the time to understand my clients’ particular requirements and use my experience to deliver practical, tailored advice in a cost effective and personable manner. I am based in our Chelmsford office, and am available for a free, no obligation 15 minute telephone conversation on 01268 244150.

I love my job due to the variation which employment work brings, and also being able to meet and work with different clients as part of my role.

I am experienced in dealing with a vast range of all types of employment matters from an employee and employer perspective. My days vary, as one day I could be advising an employer on how to handle a disagreement between colleagues, and the next day I could be in an Employment Tribunal providing representation on behalf of an individual at a Preliminary Hearing for a discrimination case.

I advise both employers and employees, and clients who are part of our BLHR scheme. I am responsible for delivering a professional service and for contributing to the promotion and development of the Employment and BLHR team. I regularly speak at presentations on various employment topics, which the team delivers throughout the year.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling and going to music gigs. I also play the occasional game of golf from time to time when the weather is good!

The Employment and BLHR team listens to the needs and objectives of our clients, whether they are individuals seeking advice about their employment or a potential claim or a business needing guidance on how to resolve a situation with an employee. Our advice is commercial and pragmatic whilst taking into account the legalities.
