Benjamin Molyneux

I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Team. I am based in our Colchester office, and I am available on 01206 217606.

My aim is to provide clear and concise advice that deals with clients’ matters in a timely and effective manner. I enjoy being able to offer support and to assist clients in challenging circumstances which I find very rewarding. I worked within the Dispute Resolution Team for 10 months prior to becoming a Trainee Solicitor and had the opportunity to negotiate high value settlements at the pre-action stage and have been involved in Court proceedings.

I am a recent graduate from the University of Law, having completed the Legal Practice Course combined with a Masters in Law, Business and Management; I was awarded Distinction in both.

I also graduated from the University of Reading where I was awarded an Upper Second Class with Honours in Bachelor of Laws (LLB).

I enjoy getting involved and putting myself forward for new challenges and opportunities. In the final year of my Law Degree I won regional and national CEDR (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution) Student Negotiation Competitions in London, whilst finishing second place in client interview and mooting competitions. In my spare time I like to play football, tennis and squash. I completed the Great North Run in 2019, raising money for a great charitable cause in the process. I’m also a keen spectator of a wide range of sports; I have a season ticket at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and love to go to Molineux Stadium and support my team!
