About the deal

Birkett Long LLP has helped Healthcare Homes Group boost their portfolio of residential and nursing homes to 37 homes, following the acquisition of two care homes in February and March 2018 under two separate transactions.

Birkett Long LLP advised Healthcare Homes Group on all legal matters relating to both acquisitions, working in conjunction with Real Estate Investment Trust, Omega Healthcare Investors Inc. lawyers, Arnold & Porter, addressing some complex structural arrangements to reflect the two party buyer nature of the deals. The Birkett Long team was led by Head of Commercial & Corporate Finance, Tracey Dickens, assisted by team member Tim Field, Martin Hopkins (Employment) and Melanie Bache (Commercial Real Estate).
