David Wisbey has advised the owners of GB Underwriting on their sale of the company to insurance intermediary Specialist Risk Group (SRG).

GB Underwriting is a property and liability solutions provider operating in the UK broker market. A key strength of the company is supporting brokers whose clients operate within construction, building and associated specialist trades.
SRG is an integrated group of insurance intermediaries arranging specialist insurance for corporates and individuals operating in the UK and internationally. The group serves over 40,000 end policyholders across multiple lines of business and specialises in creating solutions to challenging risk transfer questions.

David Wisbey, a Partner in the firm’s Commercial and Corporate Finance team, advised on the legal aspects of the sale.
