Sophie Partridge

My specialist area of law is Residential Real Estate, which extends to much more than buying and selling freehold property. I also deal with the following matters.

•            Leasehold sales and purchases

•            Re-mortgages

•            Transfers of equity

•            First registrations and unregistered titles of land

•            New build transactions

•            Property portfolios and financing requirements

I act professionally for clients, and no matter what the transaction, I always ensure they receive a high-quality service. I also try hard to minimise their stress. I love the moments when I call a client to tell them they have exchanged contracts and confirm their move date so they can open a bottle and celebrate before they start to pack.

When I have the chance, I enjoy networking and business development. I originally wanted to qualify into family law as a trainee, but property law turned out to be an area where I excelled, and here we are!

I have two young children, a dog and a cat, so I have my hands full at home. Outside of being a mother and a lawyer, I enjoy travelling and am happiest when I am trying out new cuisines or relaxing on a sun lounger with a good book. 

I am currently on the board of trustees for The Grove Pre-School, which is a registered charity and pre-school in Stanway.
