I work in the Human Resources team helping with all stages of the employee life cycle, from recruitment to retirement. I help in any way I can to help make this run as smoothly as possible.
I have worked in Human Resources for most of my career. There is variety within the role and always something new to learn. Dealing with people can be very interesting, as no one person is the same.
I have known of Birkett Long for many years and when an opportunity arose to work at the Firm, I knew it would be the right place for me to be.
Charity fundraising is important to me. I have completed various events for Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Teenage Cancer Trust. I am taking part in the London to Brighton cycle ride for Fighting Ependymoma this year, along with a group of family and friends. These are all charities that are very close to my heart.
I also enjoy helping out with events within my village and can usually be found helping out at the Pimm's stall at the fete! I live in a small village outside of Colchester and consequently enjoy walking, cycling and spending time outdoors. I like to be fit and healthy, but am never as fit as I would like to be.
