I advise clients on regaining possession of property, boundary disputes, adverse possession claims, claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996, trespass and nuisance claims, claims under the Access to Neighbouring Land Act 1992, lease renewals, dilapidations, etc. My involvement can range from advising a client on a specific point of law to drafting pleadings in court proceedings.

I have a particular interest in adverse possession, claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996, and commercial lease renewals. I also represent clients in the County Court at residential possession hearings.

Clients choose to work with me because I strive to resolve disputes as painlessly as possible, minimising the need for court involvement. However, when necessary, I take a firm approach to protect my clients’ interests. I am friendly, accessible, and committed to providing clear advice in terms that are easy to understand.

I enjoy helping people on a daily basis. Ordinarily, people do not instruct dispute resolution solicitors lightly, but rather, they instruct us because a problem has arisen, which can sometimes make their life more challenging. It, therefore, makes my job worthwhile when I receive feedback from clients that I have helped them through these difficult times.

I also enjoy the fact that I learn something new every day. The law is constantly evolving, requiring continuous learning and adaptation. Solving complex legal problems and achieving favourable outcomes for clients is particularly rewarding. There is nothing more fulfilling than getting a good result for a client!

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my young son. When I have time to myself, I enjoy catching up with friends and family, staying active, and drinking a glass of red wine!
