I studied LLB Law (Hons) at University of Hertfordshire, joining Birkett Long in January 2005.
I am a solicitor within the firm’s large property team and my areas of expertise include both commercial and residential property work. My commercial property experience includes Landlord and Tenant work, freehold and leasehold acquisitions, disposals, development work, deeds of easements, wayleave agreements and security work. My residential property experience consists of; freehold and leasehold acquisitions and dispositions, registered and unregistered titles, leasehold enfranchisement and acting for major banks in securing charges.
I developed my legal skills in British Sugar’s in house legal department, part of Associated British Foods, and One Housing Group (OHG) which is a non-asset holding parent that brings together three housing associations under a group structure: Community Housing Association, Toynbee Housing Association and Island Homes Housing Association.
At OHG I assisted the Group Legal Department in managing over 12,000 homes in 26 local authorities across London and adjacent counties and has over 2,700 homes in the development pipeline. These include affordable rented homes, shared ownership schemes, intermediate rent homes for key workers and homes for private sale.
I am a Trustee and Company Director of Farleigh Hospice.
