I give confident and straight forward advice, whilst also being sensitive to the particular needs of every individual client. I have many clients who return to me for advice on a regular basis. I am based in our Colchester office, and am available for a free 15 minute chat over 01206 217364.
I specialise in giving advice on long term care matters and NHS continuing health care. I also advise in detail on the preparation of wills and lasting powers of attorneys.
I am an associate member of Solicitors for the Elderly. I hold Higher Rights of Audience: Solicitor-Advocate (Higher Courts Civil) and I also am a member of the Law Society Children Panel.
I used to represent children in the care system and so went to court on a frequent basis. When Birkett Long stopped doing care work, I moved to Wills, Trusts and Probate. I have therefore always advised and represented people who may sometimes be vulnerable. I love working with older people and advising them, so as to ensure the best possible planning for their future.
I volunteer at St Helena Hospice in Colchester and also in my free time I enjoy walking, and travelling to see the world.

Our team's friendly approach ensures that clients are put at ease and made aware that they will be looked after. All members of the team are happy to discuss a client’s needs over the telephone for an initial 15 minutes at no cost. Once it is established what a client needs, fixed fees are almost always available to provide certainty to our clients.
