Essex law firm recruits new commercial real estate solicitor

Birkett Long has recruited Associate solicitor, Hayley Goldstone, into its Commercial Real Estate Team.

Hayley will specialise in development work, site set up, and site acquisitions, and has had the benefit of the experience of undertaking commercial real estate work on behalf of a local authority.

Hayley has been a qualified solicitor for 16 years having taken the traditional route to qualification, completing a Law degree at the University of East Anglia, followed by her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford where she gained a Distinction. Hayley completed her training contract at a local law firm before qualifying into their Commercial Real Estate team.

On what she likes about Birkett Long, Hayley said: “Definitely the care and investment the firm is committed to making in the community. I am also really excited to have joined a firm with a distinguished history like Birkett Long and I am really impressed with how forward-thinking and inclusive everyone was during the recruitment process. It made me feel like I am joining something special.”

In her spare time, Hayley enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as running, walking the family dog, and attending bounce fit classes. Hayley also assists with administration for her son’s under-11 football team at Maldon and Tiptree Football Club, where her husband is a coach.
