Dispute resolution solicitor joins leading Essex law firm
Dispute resolution solicitor, Emma Jenkins, has joined leading Essex law firm Birkett Long, expanding its Colchester team and enhancing the experience it offers.
Emma completed her training contract with an Essex firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2013. She has gained her experience with law firms from Southend to Cambridge.
Emma said: “Law intrigued me from a young age and has always been a career that I wished to pursue. My initial interest was sparked from having sat in open hearings at the Magistrates’ Court, which subsequently developed as I undertook various work experience placements and progressed in my studies
“My broad litigation practice allows me to undertake such a variety of work, which in turn is both challenging and rewarding.”
Whilst focusing primarily on property litigation, which includes, although is not limited to, issues involving boundary issues, defective work at properties, determinations of easements / rights of way, party wall matters and tenancy issues, Emma also has a wealth of experience in dealing with commercial litigation, contractual disputes and obtaining injunctive relief.

It is refreshing to work within a team which collaborates to provide the best possible service to clients, and has such a vast array of knowledge and specialisms.
