Mental health awareness training

Our mental health awareness training can be tailored for any audience, whether it is senior management, your HR team or all employees.

About our mental health awareness training session

  • lasts for up to 90 minutes and, for smaller groups, we recommend no more than 15 attendees per session to encourage interaction
  • can be delivered in person or virtually
  • is customised to your organisation’s approach, policies and procedures.

The objective of the training is to emphasise and support your organisation’s commitment to your staffs’ mental health, including within the workplace. In an interactive way, the training will help individuals understand the benefits of good mental health and support individuals both outside and inside the workplace. Just as individuals and business ask, support and look after those experiencing physical ill-health, this training will:

  • help individuals spot the potential signs of mental ill-health
  • ensure individuals are aware of and understand relevant policies and procedures and sources of help
  • provide individuals with the tools and confidence to start a conversation with colleagues
  • encourage discussions to identify potential issues and support

This training has always received very positive feedback:

Very impressed with this awareness training. Mental health issues have come to the forefront for many as we come out of the Covid pandemic. The session helps to promote wellbeing in the workforce and to raise awareness of behavioural changes and potential triggers for Managers to help them to support their staff. The session is interactive and there is plenty of opportunity for Managers to ask questions to help build their understanding of this topic. - Helen Dalton, Head of HR, Navigator Terminals UK Limited

Thank you for the thought provoking session [and] support in dealing with this worrying issue facing employers
