The Birkett Long Challenge for schools in aid of St Helena Hospice

The Birkett Long £10 Challenge in aid of St Helena Hospice.

Calling all Schools!

We are really excited to be sponsoring the St Helena Hospice £10 Challenge for the second consecutive year!

This is an “Apprentice” style challenge where we give participating schools £10.  The aim is for the pupils to use the £10 to kick start fundraising activities of their own choice and get as much return for their money as possible. All money raised goes to the hospice to help local people with an incurable illness to live well and die with dignity and choice.

The groups of pupils will be finding fun, interesting and innovative ways of turning their £10 into as much profit as possible. Fundraising ideas could include holding a raffle, having a cake sale, a sponsored silence, a talent contest or even sponge throwing at teachers!

We host a special awards ceremony presenting awards to those involved for a number of categories, such as most money raised, outstanding teamwork and best innovative idea.

The pupils have plenty of time to make a return on the £10 and maybe a chance to win one our prestigious awards. If you are interested in entering or want to sign up contact the hospice
