On 14 June 2019, Keith Songhurst, David Feakins, Lisa Cox and I dusted off our tools and trainers and took part in the annual Daniel Connal Partnership Sandcastle Competition on Frinton Beach. The task was to design and build a landmark for Frinton, which can only feature items found on the day.
We looked to Mexico and were inspired by the ruins at Chichen Itza. We therefore built our very own Mayan style pyramid.
We had a fabulous afternoon which was finished off with fish and chips on the beach!
