Experienced corporate Solicitor joins Birkett Long in Basildon

Veronika Press release

Law firm, Birkett Long, has announced the appointment of Veronika Koenig-Roach as a solicitor in its Basildon office.

Veronika advises on commercial and corporate law, but will also be specialising in technology and IP law. She has substantial experience in company law, equity capital markets and public offerings, financial regulation and investigation, with a focus on broad cross-border transactions involving start-ups, early stage and growth companies.

On the announcement of her appointment, Veronika said: “As a corporate lawyer, I enjoy the constant challenge, varied type of work and being able to help navigate other business professionals and entrepreneurs through the legal matrix.

“Everyone at Birkett Long that I have met to date has made me feel very welcome. The team in Basildon has been very friendly and supportive.  I look forward to gradually meeting all of my colleagues and to becoming a true part of Birkett Long.”

Veronika joins from CKR Law (UK)’s London office, which she assisted in setting up. With over 10 years of experience in the corporate sector, Veronika found her interest in law whilst working as a receptionist at a boutique corporate finance law firm in 2004. Her curiosity encouraged her to take on the challenge, and here we are today!

The opportunity to work closer to her family home, whilst utilising and building upon her experience of the London market, brought Veronika to Birkett Long.

Tracey Dickens, Partner and Head of the Commercial and Corporate Finance Team said: “We are really pleased that Veronika is joining our team, further strengthening our team’s offering and widening the ambit of advice we can provide to our business clients. In addition, we also gain Veronika’s fabulous ability to speak several languages.”
