I went to Chelmsford County High School for Girls where I did 11.5 GCSEs (the half being a very important half a GCSE in technology) and 4 A levels (English, History, French, General Studies). Then I did a law degree at Warwick University. I did my Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School. I joined BL as a trainee in September 2005, qualifying in September 2007 and have been here ever since.
I am an associate solicitor in the Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate team specialising in wills, powers of attorney, Court of Protection and mental capacity issues, administration of estates, trusts. I am a full member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). I also joined as a member of the Rural Business Team and therefore specialise in the above issues for agricultural clients. I was made an Associate of the firm on 1 June 2011.
I am a member of various organisations, notably the Agricultural Law Association and Country Land Association.
