I deal with personal injury and clinical negligence claims on behalf of Birkett Long LLP based at the firm’s Chelmsford office although I also work from the firm’s Basildon office and see clients there.

I attended Chelmsford County High School for Girls and then Anglia Ruskin University.  I jointed Hatten Asplin Glenny in Grays after qualifying and was made a partner there in 1995.

I moved to Wollastons Solicitors in Chelmsford, becoming a partner there in 2002. 

I have specialised in personal injury and medical negligence claims for the past 20 years dealing with complex and high value claims such back/spinal injury claims, fatal accident claims, occupational illness claims, cases involving brain injuries and cases involving amputees. My clinical negligence work has included most types of cases but I have a particular interest in claims involving cosmetic surgery and gynaecology.

I am a senior litigator in the association of personal injury solicitors.
