I completed my degree at Leicester University where I obtained a degree in Law with French, and at Strasbourg University where I obtained a diploma in French Law. I qualified as a solicitor in 1992 and joined Birkett Long in September 2002 to work in the Family Law team. After training at Allen & Overy in London, where I qualified, I then decided to pursue a career in criminal and family law. To that end I spent six years working at two firms in Romford and then came to work for a Tendring firm where I built up the family and childcare part of the practice.
I specialise in children’s cases and represent children and their parents at all court levels. I am a member of the Law Society Children’s Panel and undertake private law children’s applications. I am authorised to exercise rights of audience in the High Court in all proceedings and in other courts in all Civil Proceedings. I was made Partner on 1 June 2011.
