I studied Law (LLB) at University of East Anglia (2002 - 2005) and Legal Practice Course at BPP Leeds (2005 - 2006). Before joining Birkett Long as a trainee in September 2008 I worked as a paralegal in the Civil Litigation Department at MTC Law, dealing mainly with Debt Collection. Following that I was a paralegal in the Intellectual Property Department at Bird & Bird.
I qualified into Birkett Long's Family team in 2010, having spent the last six months of her training in this team prior to qualification, dealing mainly with children issues. I represent parents in children’s cases as well as parents in private law children applications in respect of contact.
I am a member of the Essex Resolution Committee, which helps to ensure lawyers in the region are kept up to date with legal and procedural matters relating to the constructive resolution of family disputes.
