I studied LLB Law at the University of Sheffield and graduated in 2004 with Upper Second Class Honours.
Prior to joining Birkett Long, I worked for Credit Suisse for 5 years in the Legal and Compliance Department being promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2008. During my time with Credit Suisse I studied for and passed my Financial Services Authority Regulation Examinations and was in the top 4% for completing the Securities and Investment Institute Compliance Diploma with Distinction in December 2007. I also spent a period of time on secondment in the United Arab Emirates with Credit Suisse Dubai.
I then studied my Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the College of Law, Bloomsbury, London achieving a high Commendation.
Whilst studying for the LPC I assisted a Family Law Barrister in Middle Temple, London organising court bundles and client files. I joined Birkett Long in September 2010 as a trainee solicitor, where I am currently based in the Family team.
