I studied LLB Law at the University of Essex and graduated with a First Class degree. I went on to study at the College of Law, London, where I was awarded a Distinction.
I trained at Birkett Long LLP, and qualified as a solicitor with the firm in 2009. Having spent some time post-qualification working in our Commercial Litigation team, I am now a member of our Commercial & Corporate Finance and Employment teams, acting for a wide range of businesses and individuals.
I am also a member of the Education Law Association and am part of our Education Law Unit here at Birkett Long, carrying out a variety of different work for the sector, including exclusions, appeals and academic offences, and advise both educational establishments and parents/students. I am on the University of Essex's School of LAw Advisory Board.
I am a trustee and Company Director of the Headgate Theatre in Colchester.
