Business Development Manager - on maternity leave

I studied a degree in Business & Marketing at Anglia Polytechnic University.  Before joining Birkett Long in September 2000 I trained across a range of Colchester Borough Council service areas, which resulted in a specialist role in the Chief Executive’s Policy Unit, where amongst other duties I was responsible for producing and presenting reports for Councillor Working Parties. At Eastern Electricity (TXU Europe) I was responsible for creating and cascading key messages to over 6,500 staff across 30 locations, via organisation of events, literature and IT media in liaison with project managers and at director level.

At Birkett Long I am Business Development Manager, responsible for tenders and key business development projects, to support the development and growth of the firm. I specialise in client research, projects and event management.
