Partner, Head of Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate - Chelmsford
I head Birkett Long’s Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate team in Chelmsford, having joined the firm from a practice in Hornchurch, Essex. I qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and became a partner in the firm in 2005.
I specialise in wills, inheritance tax mitigation work, trust creation and administration and probate work (administration of estates). I also advise clients who are of foreign domicile and those that have property abroad.
I am a full member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and Chair Person of the Essex Branch of STEP. I am on the Essex Chambers of Commerce Chelmsford and mid-Essex local and strategic committee. I am a honorary solicitor for the Mid Essex Hospitals Charities Foundation.
