We have a wealth of knowledge in this specialised field gained through experience in providing a range of services.  For example, contracts for the assignment of intellectual property rights between an individual client and Penguin publishing to defamation and regulatory law advice to international publishers with multi million pound turnovers.

Unusually for a firm of our size outside the main commercial centres, we have acknowledged expertise in this specialist field.  Other examples, of our experience include the setting up of a locally based record label to whom we provided contract advice and assisted in the negotiation and drafting of artists' recording, publishing and merchandising agreements.  We have also negotiated and drafted an endorsement agreement between a publishing company and television personality Anna Ryder Richardson.
