Overview
A sponsored 2.5 mile fun run through the Colchester Castle Park in aid of the Mayor of Colchester's charities. Nearly £50,000 has been raised since 2002 and with your help we hope to raise even more this year!
Agenda
The Run4Fun covers 2.5 miles and starts and finishes at the Cricket Pavilion in Lower Castle Park. The course takes ones lap of the Cricket Ground, travels through Kings Meadow, Lower and Upper Castle Park, around the Castle, back down through Castle Park again, along the river to the end of the Riverside Estate, back to Colchester Leisure World and the Cricket Pavilion. There will be Marshals, who are easily identifiable, throughout the course and, where necessary, the route will be identified by markers. There is an alternative route available for less able bodied entrants. Please contact the Run4Fun team for further details of this alternative route.
There are many prizes including for the top 3 under 12s and the best fancy dress (the theme is "Superheroes").
To enter the Run 4 Fun all you have to do is complete the booking details and we will email you an entry form. Teams with 10 or more entrants will receive at 10% discount on the entry fee.
