Birkett Long LLP is one of the largest law firms in Essex with offices in Colchester and Chelmsford and has a staff in excess of 140, including 17 partners. We are a long established law firm, which can trace its roots back to 1821. Birkett Long is a full service firm advising business and individual clients.

The LawCareers.Net Training & Recruitment Awards recognise the best recruiters and trainers among law firms, and are judged as a result of the completion of an on-line survey by trainees and newly-qualified solicitors who are asked to assess their own experiences. Our Local Community
Birkett Long is committed to supporting our local community. We are proud to be involved with Colchester & East Essex Cricket Club, Colchester Rugby Football Club and Chelmsford Rugby Football Club; in particular supporting their younger teams, helping to develop the games' futures.
Charity for the Year
In addition to sponsorship, every year a "Charity for the Year" is nominated by staff and events are held internally to raise funds.
