The insolvency team acts for businesses, individuals, accountants and insolvency practitioners.  We provide proactive advice on the nature and effects of insolvency before it happens, to give clients the opportunity to appreciate their options and consider alternative strategies.

However, the team's main area of expertise is acting for the liquidator, receiver or administrator post appointment to recover assets or pursue other money due.

The Insolvency Team has been appointed to carry out insolvency work for various Essex Local Authorities, including Colchester Borough Council, Maldon District Council and Braintree District Council.

Using a specialist software package designed inhouse, the team is able to handle a high volume of work whilst retaining the speed and accuracy of its service.

Our team is a member of R3, The Association of Business Recovery Professionals.

From collecting book debts for liquidators to helping them recover assets or pursue defaulting directors in the UK and abroad, the team has experience of all types of recovery work. A particular area in which the team takes the lead is in the use of insurance products and conditional fee agreements to bring claims arising from ostensibly 'nil asset' liquidations.
