Property on the Move at Birkett Long
Expansion continues at Essex law firm, Birkett Long Solicitors, as Chris O’Mahony, Vanessa Gardezi and Jonathan Cox join the firm’s two property teams.
Chris O’Mahony is an experienced commercial property lawyer, having worked in Essex and for the international practice, Slaughter and May, in the City. He will be working with clients on company and commercial transactions, re-structuring, landlord and tenant work, and property development projects. With his experience of high value complex contracts, consortium and collaboration work, Chris will be a valuable team player in the ever increasing number of high value transactions undertaken at Birkett Long.
Also a property expert, Vanessa Gardezi began her career in advertising after reading law at Sheffield. Her specialism is in acquisition and disposal of leasehold and freehold properties, and advising on licence agreements. Vanessa brings her linguistic skills to the practice with spoken Spanish and Italian, and written French.
Jonathan Cox joins Birkett Long’s residential property team, bringing with him more than twenty-five years of experience. In addition to his background in conveyancing, Jonathan has worked for local government, dealing with planning and building regulation issues. His aim is to use technology efficiently and keep communication channels open so that both home buyers and estate agents receive a first class service.
