Birkett Long will also assist with the preparation of minutes of meetings of the board of directors and of shareholders, and advise on other procedural matters. That work however is charged on the basis of the amount of time spent on a particular matter.

For a fixed fee of £380 plus VAT plus disbursements of approximately £110, we will provide a quality, personal service to form your company limited by shares (or £480 plus VAT and disbursements of approximately £290 for a company limited by guarantee).
In some circumstances, we are able to provide a same day service for company formations. If you require this service, please do not use the Company Formation form, instead please contact David Cammack on 01206 217311. Our standard service will still aim to have your company formed within 2 days of our receiving all the necessary information from you.
If you do not want a same day service but would still like to form a company using our website, please follow the steps below:
Step One
Search the Companies House database to see if your choice of company name is available (www.companieshouse.gov.uk/info/). There are some restrictions on the choice of company names. For more information on restricted names, please contact Andrea Brown.
Step Two
Click here to download the relevant company formation form to email or post.
In order to complete the form, you will need the following information to hand:
Who will be the director(s) of your company
Who will act as your Company Secretary (Birkett Long can provide this service for you)
Residential address and dates of birth for all directors
Where you intend keeping your registered office (Birkett Long can provide this for you)
What the share capital for your company will be
Who your shareholders will be and what their shareholding will be
Step Three
Once we receive your completed form, we shall contact you to confirm all of the details, any individual requirements and discuss our fees. Once the company formation is complete, we shall provide you with fully written up Company Books and all of the Company documentation that you require.
