Farleigh Hospice - Walk for Life

You probably already know that at Birkett Long we have a strong commitment to supporting community projects and charitable fundraising. So it won’t be any surprise to find out that we will be the main sponsor of the ‘Walk for Life’ organised by Farleigh Hospice.

The walk takes place on Sunday 18 May 2008 and covers a route that starts from Heybridge or Paper Mill Lock and takes the tow path to end in Chelmsford. The two different starting points give entrants the choice between walking for 7 or 14 miles as they wish. Picturesque scenery along the way make for an enjoyable route that can be tackled as slowly, or as speedily, as you like. All the money raised from sponsorship will go directly towards supporting the work of the Hospice.
